- AVLELEC SMGA-5 is a masking generator with 5W amplifier. Compact 1RU device is ideal for small stand-alone masking or masking with paging installations. It may also be used to add masking capability to an existing paging system or zoned area.

The generator produces the pink noise signal for sound masking. The built-in amplifier (5W into 70V, 25V, or 8ohm) may be used for paging, music, or signaling sources. System controls include output level and an adjustable low pass filter, level adjustment for the auxiliary input signal, noise level, master level and individual tone controls for shaping bass, midrange, and treble frequencies.

 
- AVLELEC SMGA20 provides the digital noise signal and amplification (70V, 25V, or 8 ohm output) for sound masking applications.

Outputs include balanced line or mic level (Low-Z) and high impedance line (Hi-Z). Line output and auxiliary input can be configured to utilize an external equalizer. Unit also includes bass, mid, and treble tone controls.

Model MG24ASP Masking Processor - 1RU, 6 Input x 4 Output DSP Configurable by a Very Intuitive Set-Up GUI, Dedicated 1/3 Octave Filter Sets are Available for Each of the 4 Generator Outputs, 8 Band Parametric EQ Blocks Along.

The MG24ASP advances sound masking control to a whole new level while providing the secondary benefit of loudspeaker processing. Our Model MG24ASP is 1RU, 6 input x 4 output DSP configurable by a very intuitive set-up GUI. Four inputs are tied to independent white/pink noise generators with adjustable ramp-up to allow gradual acclimation to masking levels. Two additional inputs are available for mic or line sources to allow paging and/or music sources to be blended with the masking sources to any of the 4 outputs. Dedicated 1/3 octave filter sets are available for each of the 4 generator outputs, 8 band parametric EQ blocks along with dynamic control is available for each of the two mic/line inputs. Any mix of all 6 inputs may be easily matrixed to the 4 output DSP blocks for additional parametric equalization, delay, and limiting (if required). Factoring in all features, a very complex 4 zone sound masking system can be easily configured with 2 external music or page sources. The optional MGTDB internal plug-in module is also available for the MG24ASP to allow timing and level control of all outputs for holiday and weekend scheduling. For loudspeaker control functionality, the MG24ASP may be configured in 2 input x 4 output mode for stereo full range. Other configurations include full range plus sub operation with our FAP ceiling speakers, SM series surface mount speakers, or AH series stadium horns for complete control of crossover types, equalization, delay and dynamic control. Computer interface is simplified by USB, RS-232 and Ethernet connection (no hard to use USB to Serial adaptors required!). External UL listed international voltage power supply is included.
Our MG24ASP DSP architecture is equally suited for complex masking systems and for control of our full range speakers and/or subwoofers.
The intuitive MG24ASP set-up GUI is designed to simplify even complex setups that utilize multiple sources plus masking in the same zone.

DSP Sound Masking Generator w/ Event Scheduling

The MG3001 represents the latest technology in digital signal processing (DSP) engines for sound masking generator/equalizers. This model features two built-in digital noise generators and two analog noise generators allowing the versatility of digital, analog, or mixed noise at either of its two outputs. Each noise source is separately adjustable–between 80dBu and 0dBu in 0.1dB steps. The SMG-3001 offers a variety of user selectable filter options including one-third octave, parametric high/low pass, and high/low shelving filters. Each filter offers precision .1dB level and 1 Hz frequency steps. All set-up and operating functions of the SMG-3001 are conducted from a PC using software provided for Windows 95/98/2000/XP/NT4. After defining and downloading the control functions through the PC, the settings will be stored within the unit in non-volatile memory (no battery required). The SMG-3001 model features 12 storage memories and 12 preset functions. The unit occupies one rack space unit (13/4") with a depth of 10" behind the front panel. It contains a built-in power supply capable of operating between 94-260 VAC at either 50 or 60 Hz. The MG3001 includes a clock circuit that allows for varying parameters at different times of day. The device will ramp up gradually so that workers do not notice a difference in the noise level.

AVLELEC SMG-2500 Sound Masking Processor is a digital pink-noise generator that includes a balanced line-level audio input and a 2-channel DSP processor, all in a single rack-space unit. An extended ‘non-apparent’ repeat time of noise (200 minutes) and output delay with distance/delay calculation, per channel helps insure the masking source will not be decoded in high security installations. The SMG-2500 includes two independent matrixes for channel-to-channel mixing and balanced input & outputs on plug-in barrier strip connectors. Noise & audio levels, plus two channels of combined 1/3-octave & parametric equalization, EQ, gain management & delay, are adjusted via computer software (Windows 95/98/2000/XP/NT4). Sixteen presets can also be recalled via contact-closures, RS-232, or other remote control options.There are no manual controls on front panel, to prevent tampering. AVLELEC SGPN-1200B masking generator is designed for speech privacy systems and for use as a noise reference in sound systems. Output level is .3V into 600 ohms (-8dBm). Variable low pass filter shapes frequencies from 16 kHz to 250 Hz at 12dB per octave.
Compact 1RU size takes up little rack space. Rear-mounted controls prevent unauthorized tampering. Finish is black semi-gloss epoxy.
